The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
