This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
